For over 100 years, Baudouin has been manufacturing the highest quality engines for marine, power generation and a host of other applications. The continuous need to provide durable, robust and long-lasting engines for land – based power generation and the high-sea have led to Baudouin being the preferred engine supplier to the most prominent generator manufacturers in the world.
Baudouin was founded in 1918 in Marseille France. With headquarters at Cassis France. The company employees more than 18000 people and has a presence in about 100 countries.
Their Indian manufacturing plant started operations in 2011 in Pune Maharashtra.
In India the company is manufacturing engines from 18 kW to 3300 kW.
Baudouin is One of the only two engine manufacturers in the world to have incorporated the hugely efficient High Pressure Common Rail Direct Injection system (HPCR) into their engines.
HPCR yields tremendous benefits in fuel consumption, response time from engine on load application, lesser noise and much reduced emissions
